Named in memory of long-time Eagle Lake resident and philanthropist David Wintermann, this natural gem is part of the Eagle Lake Municipal Park System. Visitors can stroll along the boardwalks and paved pathways, enjoying the lush green vegetation and a wide variety of wildlife including bullfrogs, alligators, and hundreds of bird species. The observation platform overlooking the lake presents a panoramic view that cannot be rivaled.

 



This nature-lovers’ destination can be found on Hwy 90A across from Dairy Queen, just two blocks from historic downtown Eagle Lake.
